WHO HAS A HEART FOR LOVE?
Interview with Dezrick Dixon
By: YOUNG

United Front is please to invite you to a brief yet descriptive look at a young man’s life of disappointment and triumph. His life isn’t different from the average person on this green earth except for his personal testimony.

Growing up in a single parent home with 5 brothers was very perplexing, but having a mother addicted to heroine was simply agonizing. This is the testimony of Dezrick Dixon, a man that never saw his father with his own eyes but heard story about him floating around the nearest corner from time to time. Dezrick started hustling (dealing drugs) at the age of 14 and a year later found him self confined to a training camp for a local shooting in Durham. In the gruesome shooting Dezrick acquired a shot two inches from his internal kidney. Trapped away for a year, he continued down the path of confusion once released. With sadness he was sentence again for probation violation.

At his crossroad he faced having guns pointed at him, and the gunmen pulling their triggers while the guns jammed. He saw numerous friends taken away by the act of intentional violence. He sought after change and found it in God. Since his acceptance to God’s love, grace and mercy he has constructed a company that is a non-profit organization. Breathe On Me Entertainment, or B.O.M. Entertainment as its affectionately known, is design to breathe life into the communities.

Three years ago Dezrick fashioned B.O.M. to give life to the communities by way of healing and deliverance. He purposed that this company would provoke the talents, gifts, and abilities of the youth that are at risk to falling victim to gang violence. The organization has committed to the communities the benefit of supervising youth from gangs, drugs and guns! The B.O.M. staff is comprised of Young, Saved, Zealous and Wise Christians. Also it has the support of Dezrick’s home church, Life Community Church of Durham, North Carolina, but B.O.M. is constantly looking for persons to become involved.

Many can expect extraordinary things from this young man that had a difficult childhood but what is seemingly a God-filled future. He doesn’t want to forget to mention, “All you thugs behind the colors, I love you like Christ love me when I was in the world. Yawl that’s in the church, how can you love God that you can’t see but not those that you see everyday”. Lets love one another.
