Greetings

Happy New Year!
I am confident that you
enjoyed the Holiday Season
in some manner and you are
ready to turn over a new
leaf and start 2009 anew.
Why not? January 2009
begins a celebration of
historic proportions with
the Inauguration of our 44th
President of the United
States, Barack Obama.
Whether you make the trek to
Washington and witness first
hand or you watch on your
big screen at home, I
encourage you to begin
praying now for a smooth
transition and the safety of
the millions of people who
will embark on our nation's
capital.
January is special here for
us at The Connection Place
as we continue to celebrate
our 5th year anniversary.
The cruise in November was
wonderful and a needed
break. We had the
opportunity to visit Dr.
Myles Munroe during his
Leadership Conference in the
Bahamas and also witness the
space shuttle launch on our
return. Everyone got a
ministry connection and are
eager to travel again so
stay tuned for the next
cruise date.
Congratulations to TCP
Magazine for being
nominated in the Print
Media Category for a
Rhythm of Gospel Award.
This award show will be
held in Pine Bluff,
Arkansas on July 10-12,
2009. To learn more
about this event and to
participate in online
voting for your favorite
artist, pastor or
ministry, visit
www.rhythmofgospel.com.
On Friday, January 30, we
will have our VIP Reception
at the Marriott Hotel
Crabtree in Raleigh, NC
beginning at 7 p.m. This
event is being hosted by
Amazing Grace Etiquette and
there is a $25 charge. For
more information, contact
Donna Corbett at 919
413-8614. On Saturday,
January 31, 2009 at 4 p.m.,
please join us at New
Providence Baptist Church
and help us celebrate 5
years in publishing. Our
theme, An Incredible
Journey, will give you a
glimpse of this incredible
ministry through music,
presentations, poetry, dance
and photography. Everyone
who has ever been featured,
advertised, and presented in
any way through TCP Magazine
over the years is encouraged
to join us. I guarantee
that you will be blessed.
Admission is free.
Opportunities are still
available to advertise in
the Anniversary Edition of
the Magazine. All past
advertisers are given the
opportunity to advertise
at their discounted rates so
call me today.
Check out the events that we
have listed to the left. If
we can help you advertise
your event, ministry or
business in this newsletter
or our magazine, please give
me a call at 919 676-0263 or
919 796-4724.

Experience the
raw talent of Paul Porter on his new release, A New Day. You
know him as the lead singer of The Christianaires. He hasn't dropped his
signature hard charging vocals. He is criss-crossing the country introducing
his new songs such as my favorite My Redeemer Lives and his Sunday morning choir
song, What Did You Do? You will love this new album. Visit online at
www.lightrecords.com. |
