Pastor Timothy Wright, known in the music industry as the Godfather of Gospel has suffered a tremendous loss over the past month with the death of his wife and son in a car accident. Pastor Wright has blessed us tremendously over the years with songs such as Been There Done That, Who's On The Lord Side and most recently, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. TCP is dedicating a special issue in honor of Pastor Wright in appreciation of his music ministry and in order to make a monetary contribution to his mounting hospital expenses. I will be attending the Gospel Music Workshop of America Convention in Nashville, TN, August 8-15. This is the largest gathering of African American choirs, musicians, radio announcers, media and music lovers in the country. TCP Magazine has been nominated for Print Media of the Year.
